PUBLIC RELATIONS ACCOUNT MANAGER

We look for a distinguished and dedicated Public Relation Account Manager to act as a key point of contact between us and our customers.

Responsibilities

⮚ Client Management:
● Managing accounts and ensuring the delivery of brand programs aligns with the client’s strategic goals.
● Providing daily client counsel and problem-solving.

⮚ Written Communication:
● Developing and editing high-quality written documents such as slides, proposals, plans, budgets, and issues management documents.

⮚ Industry Knowledge:
● Keeping up-to-date with new developments, trends, and opportunities in both client-specific and wider industry contexts.

⮚ Business Understanding:
● Building a deep understanding of clients’ businesses and challenges.

⮚ Campaign Planning and Development:
● Playing a key role in research, competitor analysis, planning, and campaign development.

⮚ Team Management and Leadership:
● Overseeing the quality and operational performance of accounts.
● Providing close coaching and development to junior team members.

⮚ Media Handling and Crisis Communication:
● Demonstrating excellent media handling skills, including providing informed counsel to clients on developing stories and handling complex issues.
● Directing media engagement strategy for clients and coaching teams to activate and deliver coverage, leading from the front.

⮚ Quotation Management:
● Holding a comprehensive understanding of the quotation process, including preparing and managing quotes, ensuring accurate pricing, and adhering to client requirements.

Required skills and qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a PR agency

● Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations

● Competency using Microsoft Office Suite

● Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously

● Strong written and verbal communication skills

● Excellent organizational skills and attention to details

● Familiarity with quotation, proposal, plans and strategies management processes

● Proven success in driving new business opportunities and pitching to prospects

● Expertise in campaign planning, research, and competitor analysis
