Keeping with tradition at W7Worldwide, this Ramadan, we took our readers, stakeholders, and all well-wishers on a journey to Qatar to explore the distinctive cultural customs of its people during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr. Looking back, we learnt that:

1) Qatar enjoys a vital strategic location and has succeeded in hosting numerous international events, attracting visitors throughout the year, making it an ideal destination to experience Ramadan and to learn about Qatari customs during the holy month.

2) Among the Ramadan traditions of the people of Qatar are “Ghabqa,” “Garangao,” dish exchanges, and more.

3) The Qatari Ramadan table is distinguished by dishes such as “Thareed,” “Jareesh,” “Sagoo,” “Khunfaroush,” “Bilalit,” and others.

4) The people of Qatar maintain many of their social customs during Ramadan and beyond, and several events worth seeing are held in public places. Additionally, they prioritize acts of charity during the Eid days.

We hope that our Ramadan series served as a guide to Qatar, enlightening our readers and visitors to Qatar with rich information. We will continue this series next year as well. Stay tuned to find out which region comes under the spotlight next!

As this blessed month draws to a close, we at W7Worldwide pray and hope to see the holy month next year, InshaAllah, in the best of health and safety.
