W7Worldwide Marketing Communications Consultancy Agency recently hosted a training session on leadership, public relations and communication skills for a group of Dar Al-Hekma (DAH) University students.

The session, which was presented by Abdulrahman Inayat, Co-Founder and Director of W7Worldwide, focused mainly on the importance of communications, and its three categories, namely internal, external and corporate. According to Inayat, communications is the driving force behind the success of all businesses.

During his presentation, Inayat said that corporate communications is not an improvised act; rather it is a strategic vision that begins with planning a unified message that best reflects the values of the organization. It is implemented through different activities, programs and initiatives that contribute to building brand reputation and image and strengthening the organization’s relationship with the media by highlighting its achievements and services.

Students learned about W7Worldwide’s various PR and communications projects, activities, researches and training programs.

Lina Kurdi, Acting Director of Student Development and Career Services at DAH University, said the university, is one of the first non-profit institutions of higher education for women in Saudi Arabia established in 1999, attaches great importance to training and development programs for its students.

“Dar Al-Hekma University chose W7Worldwide due to its success and prominence as a local independent agency with global standards that are being managed by young national cadres, who were able to position themselves on the map of public relations locally and regionally, within just a few years,” she said.

“The session aimed to introduce students to the vital sector of PR and communications and provide them with insights. The students were excited and found the session to be informative and worthwhile,” Kurdi added.
